40 Ton Service Tank

Our Mobile Service module has been manufacture and fitted on a Volvo A40 ADT. This unit was custom designed for the purpose of re-fuelling machinery on site and topping up of various needed fluids. Most fluids are commonly needed on a daily basis but we have also made provision for specific non-common (or specific fluids) on the front right-hand compartment for 4 x 20 L containers.

The service tank fluids consist of:

• 25000 L Diesel
• 2200 L Hydraulic oil
• 660 L Engine oil
• 210L Engine coolant

All fluids are pumped with double diaphragm air pumps with the below details:

• Diesel 1 ½ pump 378 l/min 8.4 bar working pressure
• Hydraulic oil & Engine oil 1” pump 144 l/min 6.8 bar working pressure
• Coolant ¾” pump 61 l/min 6.8 working pressure
• Grease pump 3.4kg/min 10 bar working pressure

Hydraulic oil, engine oil & coolant functions are fitted standard with ½” self-retracting hose reels for the top ups

Diesel function is fitted with 1 ½ self-retracting hose reel for high volume transfer

Grease function is fitted with 3/8 self-retracting hose reel

A ¾ self-retracting hose reel is fitted for the option to use pneumatic air tools

All Pumping points & refilling of the different tanks are centrally located on the rear end of the service unit

Fitted Compressor:

• Atlas Copco U110 Pace
• 10bar max pressure
• 110cfm
• Diesel driven
• Fitted onto a retractable slider for maintenance purposes

The Mobile Service units have a separate 5000L water tank with a diesel driven high pressure washer fitted into the right-hand front compartment with a 3/8 self-retracting hose reel. The volume of the water tank can be increase but in turn the diesel volume will decrease to stay within the truck load specification.
